About Me

- Brought up in Lincoln, I read English at St Hugh's College Oxford, and worked as an editor at Weidenfeld and Nicolson, and then Methuen, in the 1980s. I now spend my time writing, reading, knitting, playing the piano, singing and playing the violin. Oh - and cooking, as well!
